We are looking for a strong IT leader who will transform a classic bank into a modern digital company.
Responsibilities:
- Formation a team of technical leaders: hiring, assessment, development;
- Establish and coach technical leaders on performance, quality and security conventions and standards;
- Guide on agile techniques and ways of working to help improve teams and software development process;
- Assistance in managing and interacting with other teams;
- Establish start-up like environment in teams;
- KPI system development and monitoring results of technical leaders and teams;
- Establish and provide direct assistance for teams with product’s roadmap strategy;
- Evaluate and identify appropriate technology stacks and platforms, including cloud providers;
- Establish and control monitoring systems to ensure achievement of the set goals for technical leaders and their teams;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices by attending relevant conferences and reading widely;
- Attend at profile conferences, writing articles to promote the processes and technologies used in the bank and developing the brand of the IT employer;
- Expansions of partnership with vendors.
Background:
- 6+ years Team technology leader role working with product development teams, delivering and building digital products;
- A track record of hiring, onboarding, and developing engineering and product teams;
- Strong examples of coaching, facilitating and guiding others – directing, leading and mentoring;
- An expert in product development for web and mobile with hands on experience coding;
- An expert in Agile software development methodologies;
- An expert in CI, CD, TDD and automation;
- A depth and breadth understanding of the digital technology space – with the ability to stay current and up-to-date on trends and technologies;
- A wide hands-on experience and understanding of architecture in terms of solution, data and integration, practical experience in modern architecture patterns: e.g. microservices, APIs
- Experience working with teams using DevOps and Continuous Delivery with focus on delivering rapid customer value;
- Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management;
- Familiarity with cloud and container infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes);
Understanding of enterprise legacy IT and ability to architect future-proof architecture evolution, simplifying and decoupling legacy systems (e.g.
