Junior Trader

 Equities, ADR/GDR, Small caps, Derivatives

Role Purpose: 

A trader executes trades and orders on behalf of the firm on a principal or agency basis, in order to generate revenue and support the needs of clients.

Responsibilities: 

• Trading and execution of clients orders in Russian stocks and financial instruments listed on Moscow Exchange, as well as Russian GDRs listed on London Stock Exchange
• Proactively keep abreast of market developments and trading opportunities; have a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments and strategies
• Facilitate client order flow by providing liquidity via proprietary inventory (utilizing the firm’s capital) or accessing third party external offerings
• Adhere to all applicable regulations and internal policies including but not limited to quality of execution, trading activities, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies
• Manage broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, execution risk, operational risk, compliance risk and conduct risk etc., evaluating options and making decisions

Requirements:

• Education in Economics, Math or Physics
• Good understanding of financial markets, trading and execution on exchanges, Repo trades, OTC trades, FX conversions and Interest rates
• Experience in trading and orders execution in instruments listed on Moscow Exchange
• Knowledgeable of risk management, pricing and trading/hedging strategies
• Good internal networking and relationship building skills
• Strong team player
• Attention to detail is essential
• Fluent English and Russian
