Senior IAS Officer
Major responsibilities:
- Quarterly reporting to Head Office in accordance with IAS.
- Semi-annual IFRS reporting to the Central Bank of Russia in accordance with IAS;
- Interaction with external/internal auditors and rating agencies missions, where requires;
- Active participation in the monthly closing process.
- Helping with other reporting requests from Head Office (e.g. liquidity balance sheet, IRR, certificates and etc.) or from Chief Accountant;
- Regular communication with Head Office;
- Research and resolve accounting issues including evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements to ensure IAS compliance;
- Manage daily activities:
- assist with ad-hoc questions from local teams;
- development of IAS accounting schemes for Back Office;
- process improvements;
- perform daily controls
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting;
- Taking part in testing of new operating systems implementation;
- Participation in development and update of written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process
Meeting the following requirements:
- University degree in Economic/Finance;
- Knowledge of IAS and IFRS, main principles of RAS;
- Bank experience in IAS reporting team or BIG4 audit department;
- Knowledge of banking products;
- Experienced PC user (MS Office and MS Word, Access);
- Good level of English — at least at intermediate level;
- Ability to think outside the box and bring suggestions and proposed solutions to the table
- Good financial analysis skill;
- High level of attention to details and the desire to deliver accuracy and quality
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
